Day 12: Good Things after Bad Things


I woke up early but somehow I don't have enough time to prepare for work, so I went to the office just to punch in. It's a bad idea writing things like this on the internet, I'm like putting a bullseye at my back. I wasn't all that late after I really get ready, I got to the office 5 minutes late. My house is literally 5 minutes walk from the office, so I wouldn't miss anything even if I go home at any time. I just like to have a clean record on my punch card. No reds please.

Another slow day in the office with no meetings, events and so on. I did some reorganizing with my files and I'm going to continue doing the data for PBS tomorrow. Before going for lunch, my SISC+ friends invited me to play Nintendo Switch Smash Bros. Budi bought the game and use it on Simon's switch. On the first screen, it showed a character just got unlocked and Budi panicked because it maybe a DLC. He was so disappointed but later on in the evening. He told me that the DLC will be rolled out on February next year, so he didn't lose anything. That was a relieved, I actually felt bad for him.

Apart from me going to the office late in the evening with Denis nowhere to be seen. There's another interesting thing that happened, which is me trying to find a replacement for my cracked screen protector of my Note 9. It happened last night when I got stung by an insect and my phone dropped. Well the impact was not the caused, it was actually my niece Avi's fault. The screen protector was already loose and it was sort off got plucked out. My niece picked it up and she accidentally cracked the fragile screen in two. But I don't really feel mad or anything. I think it was going to happen anyways.

I didn't find it in any of the phone shops this evening and since it's 12.12 sale all over the internet, suddenly a good advertisement just popped out. It said free shipment voucher for any RM12 and above. I jumped straight to the deal and bought a new screen protector in Shopee. I only spent RM13.20 and that is all.

Early in the morning my mom asked me to go to Melton's place to help move the packages that arrived last night. Day 2: Strings of Bad Luck

My broken UHD TV 😢😢 I'm bleeding money left and right this year. 2 months ago I was diagnosed with kidney stone. Had an intrusive surgery to remove it and it cost me RM13,000+. The comfy chair that I bought earlier this year is broken. Probably need to buy a new one. The 55 inch UHD TV that I just bought got damaged by my own mistake last night. I couldn't wait for the repair, so I just bought a cheap one from a local store. It's okay I guess just for the time being. I texted the seller about it and I found out that it's not gonna be easy to fix that and I don't have an extended warranty. Which means I have pay all of the repairs myself. I also brought the chair to the shop too. I want it fixed. But it looks like I'm gonna pay for that as well. Then again I've been spending a lot of money this past few months after the surgery. Day 10: Hurtful Past and Moving On

It was raining all day, looks like it's one of those end of year rainy season. Maybe it's because of the weather, I'm waking up a little later or maybe because of the heavy workout session late at night. I don't really have enough time to get myself ready for work. I just go with whatever prep that I can get and go to work. My laundry was on my bed when I left. When I was at work, all I did was just reorganizing my stuff in preparation for next year and it's mostly going through my old emails. I've deleted my old mails and I deleted one of my Facebook account. Reading all the emails and past messages made me cringed and I feel like I want to punch myself for being so immature. I know that I'm the man today because of all those mistakes but a part of me still wishes I didn't do the things that I did. The most painful feeling was when I look at the names of the girls that I used to like, hell even love. I got texted by Arvin the seller from Shopee.
